Episode 70 Emma Booth Olympic ParaEquestrian

Most of us are in social isolation or quarantine so the very least I can do is help you remember the amazing people in our equestrian world. You can either go to the start of the podcast episodes and start again! Or you can have a listen to the episodes that were most popular amongst listeners. I will run 2 best of episodes each week.

In this episode you will hear from Emma Booth who is a truly extraordinary human being. She has represented Australia at the Olympics and this year at WEG as a para equestrian.

Emma has been at the forefront of my mind for an interview since I heard her story through another podcast so I was thrilled when she said “yes let’s do it tomorrow” at EQUITANA when I asked her for an interview. Some people might take pity on people who are not fully able bodied, or have been through the kind of trauma Emma has. I personally have a reverence for them. Especially Emma, she is strong and capable and sits with intention and will not be seen anything other than an incredible athlete in her own right, because listeners, that’s exactly what she is.

I hope you can hear how extraordinary she is and that you enjoy this interview as much as I did.
